The Akron St. Vincent St. Mary's Girls (9:17.15) 4x800 pulled out a narrow victory over Kettering Alter (9:18.21) to win the state title. Anchor leg Marie Arnone held off a kick in the final stretch by Alter anchor Rebecca Esselstein to preserve the victory. Congratulations to the Lady Irish!
